We are located in Eatonville WA . close to Mount Raineer. We have 32 acres where are dogs play in large outdoor runs. They learn their earth dog skills early on with our large rock tunnels & rock cairns .
Our first cairn came from my mother in law, who has been in cairns since1961. She is best known in the cairn world as "mom". She has had & still has many champion cairns with the name of TharrBarr. Her first show cairn was from Elaine Eschbach , Sharolaine Cairn Terriers.
Our first cairn, Tharrbarr Leader Of The Pack finished in one weekend with 3-5 point majors. His sire Tharrbarr's Just For Pete was stud dog of the year in 1993 & has sired many champions.
Bertha is no longer with us, she has crossed that Rainbow Bridge to be with her beloved cairns.
Ken Sr. is , no longer breeding cairn terriers, but we now co-own the dogs & still have the TharrBarr line. Ken Sr. with his fine handling skills, has, championed many cairns. Ken Jr. & I have taken over the breeding program to keep the lines going. Are goal is to raise quality, sound cairn terriers with excellent disposition.
